MSC research

Mesenchymal stem cell research

Our team has already conducted studies in horses to assess the safety and efficacy of allogeneic MSCs for the treatment of osteoarthritis and tendinitis. Following the results obtained, an Experimental Service of Veterinary Regenerative Medicine has been developed at the Veterinary Hospital of the University of Zaragoza. In collaboration with various veterinary centres, we seek to bring the benefits of MSCs to animals and expand the knowledge about the effects of this therapy. Once the Cellequs cell bank is established, we aim at supplying MSCs to carry out experimental treatments with allogeneic MSCs in collaboration with veterinary professionals and related entities that want to collaborate with us. Our final goal is to contribute to the advancement of cell therapies in both veterinary and human medicine.
