One more year we attended the XXII International Congress of Equine Medicine and Surgery
On 18th and 19th November, the XXII International Congress of Equine Medicine and Surgery was held in Seville, an event that our research team LAGENBIO has been attending for years. This year the main topic of the Congress was respiratory and muscular pathology and our colleagues Mirta and Elvira presented two communications entitled “Changes in equine MSCs after allogeneic administration: possible implications for cell therapy” and “Production of antibodies against equine allogeneic MSCs: what factors may influence humoral rejection?” The results of these studies, which demonstrate the importance of donor-recipient compatibility in allogeneic MSC therapies, led to the presentation of our new Cellequs project. Because of the importance of this research and the audience interest on it, the first communication was awarded as “Best oral communication in experimental research”, congratulations!.
